With all the excitement of (Same-Document) View Transitions (and more VT features) becoming Baseline Newly available (yay! 🎉), one might overlook the inclusion of the moveBefore() method.
This method is a pretty big deal as it allows you to move elements around the DOM while preserving their state.

to be clear, i think the policy direction is OK but the way the government are selling it (to stop illegal working, somehow) is completely wrong

I really think we can still do digital id for convenience as long as it's done well. There is economic benefit in speeding up people IDing for 18+ spaces and shopping, for example. Plus it's more convenient than carrying around your drivers license everywhere!

im still trying to work out the difference between Your Party and the Green Party - YP says its going to be internally democratic but the greens already are, etc. I'm a member of both but I have a feeling they are gonna end up targeting different seats with essentially identical policies lol

whenever i watch someone else search, i cringe at how their eyes reflexively dodge the ad result, breeze past the unhelpful ai response, ignore a site they hate, and get past the popular-but-not-what-they-wanted result... just to arrive at the first result they would've received from @kagi.com

google just served me a youtube ad that included a deepfake of the prime minister talking about some scheme to get free money. i try to report the ad and get a "Something went wrong" toast. Awesome

monophonic = 1, duophonic = 5, triophonic = 6, quadraphonic = 7. 0, 2, 3, 4 are buggy. anything over 7 gives you ✨random polyphony✨ by reading garbage ram
