Cruelty by design. This administration wants chaos. They want us demoralized and defeated. They want us tired and exhausted. They want us afraid as they do, what I believe is, calculated targeting. “What situation will cause the most outrage?” But they also want us angry enough to use as an excuse…
I need everybody to read this and understand what’s going on. These are spouses of US citizens in the country legally. They have entry clearance and green cards, they’ve passed background checks and have no criminal records. ICE is taking them anyway.

Note to self:
Don't use cold bare toes to "kick" grocery bags across the kitchen floor if bags have hard-edgy stuff in them. "That" toe + warfarin = tiny cut that leaves bloodtrails all over the kitchen.
On another note: First barefoot walk in snow (on porch, bringing in grocery bags) accomplished.

I see so many women my age out there shopping with heads down, wearing black and dun, seeming lifeless. I have every reason to hide in the back of my closet crying but instead wear brights, boots, ridiculous sweaters, hold my head up as best I can. It’s all fake but it helps. Don’t waste a day.

If the victims actually were running drugs, that is a matter for law enforcement, not the military. Law enforcement has strict rules for when a LEO may use lethal force. A couple of guys clinging to wreckage? Not justified. And Geneva Accords prohibit killing people not capable of resistance.
