Everything doesn’t have to be this shitty and people who tell you otherwise are either profiting from it, hoping to profit from it, or are irredeemably unimaginative.

An onion headline that reads “new data center built to store single PowerPoint presentation with videos and animated text”

Is it funny enough to publish? No.
But is it funny enough to share here? Also no.

Can we get to the point where Olivia Nuzzin abandons her underperforming OnlyFans that she started after her third book in a row bombs already?

If you can't justify the cost/inconvenience of buying the music you listen to, fr just pirate it. It's not any worse than Spotify.

I generally don’t believe anyone that says they’re getting flooded with criticism and complaints about banal shit. Whenever I look there’s like one person politely asking a question.

I did the "movie you've seen 6 times" prompt post last time, but I'm still left with an important question: why do people watch marvel movies on repeat?

I get that I am not the target audience for this, but even if it was it doesn't seem like they're designed for repeat viewing.

I like that my first indication of the packer doing a good job football is the amount of @zachrapport.bsky.social in my feed on a (for me) Monday morning. Can already tell they won without looking up the score.

As a Milwaukeean, there are so many Matt Cook lines floating up around there it's hard to keep track of. But my favorite:

"More writers will write about writing
Than bakers will bake about baking"
Which lines of poetry live rent-free in your head?

When I was back home in June last summer, I did an interview for a student documentary about the Milwaukee noise scene. If I'm counting right, its the fourth mke noise doc that I have been in (five if you include the local news story). And it's weird to think that may have been the last one I do.

Looking for record labels who would be a good place to pitch someone who makes weird ethereal pop - like, it's weird, it's influenced by the underground, but it's got hooks aplenty, def pop diva voice, weird v ambient-influenced production. NOT hyperpop. Thoughts? Anyone?

PCRV- Tourist (Expanded)

Love the idea of returning to a specific space/set up/collection of gestures to create something new years later. Especially when it has Taggart's cut up compositional sense.

Well, it's the last #BandcampFriday of 2025. I only released one thing this year but it took a few years to make, so cut me some slack. Much more to come in 2026.

In the meantime, if you haven't heard this yet, may I humbly request an hour of your time to go on a weird little dismal journey w/ me?
At long last, I am excited to finally announce the release of my new album, "Here, Beneath the Ash-Choked Sky", available now on Bandcamp and streaming.
