All those tax returns filed in 2020 (and 2021) to take advantage of Covid money? If my inbox is any indication, it appears that the IRS is finally noticing that many of those taxpayers were previously non-filers.
(Related: I predict the same result for 2025 thanks to OBBBA.)

As an American...sadly, I agree with you. Canada needs to protect itself from the evil that has infected the US.

Though it could, and has, happened to plenty of other countries.

Sometimes alliances need to be reevaluated, based on current conditions.

IMPORTANT NEWS

As of October 17th, individuals will no longer be able to create new EFTPS accounts.

Individuals are being encouraged to enroll in IRS Online Accounts.

In 2026, all individuals will be required to transition away from EFTPS.

I think different methods work for different people. Our brains are all wired differently. 😁

I use a mixture of things, but I've also renewed my love for spreadsheets for tax tasks/flowchart. For personal I use TickTick. Drag and drop rules!

My whole life is in spreadsheets and checklists.

Agreed! I have found a couple of *potential* replacements. After 10/15 I'm going to test 'um out.

I hate to throw away a "10 year relationship", but that kind of thinking has kept me stuck in other bad personal relationships too. When it's time to go, it's time to go.
