Off-topic, but I'd like to share this update from a Bad Medical Take earlier this year

I told the nurse today that I won’t be taking pills to fix my high blood pressure but will attempt to lower it by eating healthily, not drinking alcohol and doing more exercise.

I said I’d rather deal with the cause not mask the symptoms.

She shook her head and told me that if my high blood pressure turns out to be hereditary, changing my diet and lifestyle will do NOTHING to help and that my blood pressure will remain high unless I take medication.

I was gobsmacked. Honestly, where do they GET these people?

Do these figures have any basis in health or are they the recommendations of BigPharma in order to sell more pills?”

JacquiDeevoy (@JacquiDeevoy) replies: Yes, I know, but mine is consistently higher. It was 170/124 today. That’s quite a common reading for me.

Thanks for all your kind messages and words of support and advice. I seem to have avoided a serious stroke and, after emergency IV drugs, my BP and gone down from 240/154 to 147/100. The symptoms yesterday were scary - I couldn’t read, write, type or speak properly; I couldn’t understand what was being said to me and I kept getting my words muddled. I’d never experienced anything like that before. It was like being drunk but without the singing and dancing. Some minor lesions were spotted in the brain on the MRI scan but these appear to be historical. I’ll find out more tomorrow and then hopefully I can head home. Thanks again for all the love. [heart emoji]

I have not gone through the evaluation for a full diagnosis, but the woman I spoke to gave me questionnaires and we talked while I completed them. She told me the process would require several evals, but she was confident that I have Asperger's. After reading up, I agree.

According to the American Cancer Society, an estimated 35,770 men in the United States are expected to die from prostate cancer in 2025. This represents about 1 in 44 men diagnosed with prostate cancer.

Seriously. Back up and question the premise. Cancer is an industry in the US.

Prostate cancer is an exaggerated and hijacked concept. A tumor is an encapsulation of something invasive (like bacteria, which can get in the prostate and cause swelling). So if you have a tiny grain of rice sized tumor in your prostate and the doctor punches a hole in it to "biopsy", he's interfering in your body's natural process of elimination, and spreading what your body knew to isolate.

Most men get an enlarged prostate from the prostate isolating something invasive. Then they go to the doctor, and the doctor intercedes and actually causes the spread.

You don't have cancer. You're being reinfected by the doctor's involvement. After he does this three or four times, you now have a bigger problem, and the cancer has "spread".

The epidemic is an industry, not a disease.

They post these bloated statistics so everyone will rush to an exam and they can then spread the problem.

If a "tumor" is found in the prostate, it will usually not grow. It won't metastasize. If it gets biopsied, now you have a problem. In testing for "cancer" they are doing the metastasizing.
