Twilight paints the sky and the rocky shoreline at the House of Refuge at Gilbert's Bar with the fading light of the day. The currents of this island are seen in the ocean waves coming ashore during low tide and as twilight beautifully illuminates the clouds as they sweep across the sky.

Gilbert’s Bar House of Refuge located on Hutchinson Island, Florida.
Gilbert’s Bar House of Refuge was built in 1876 and is the last surviving house of refuge of 10 originally built all along Florida’s coast to aid shipwreck victims. Florida's house of refuge program started between 1876 to 1886 due to the need to prevent the high loss of life and sailing ships from hurricanes and dangerous reefs in a then largely unpopulated Florida. This historic building is on a picturesque portion of beach called the St. Lucie Rocks. Outcroppings of Anastasia limestone line the shoreline.

Making art is soothing to my soul.

I expressed gratitude to loved ones for our shared memories.
Trying to keep calm and strong during my preparation for surgery.

My surgery is

sharing various stages progress from line drawing to making color palette to working plumage to green leaves during different art sessions.

My surgery is schedule on 3rd September 2025, at Sakra World Hospital, Marathahalli, Bangalore.

Inside The New DLR Train

I love that the carriages are joined on the new Docklands Light Railway trains, meaning that you can now walk the entire length of the train. This angle makes it look futuristic!

Degene voor wie ik dit roodborstje maakte overleed een paar dagen na oud&nieuw. Bijna negen jaar liep ze met me mee, als hulp en als vriendin. Jaren waarin ook belachelijk veel gebeurd is eigenlijk. Ze gaat echt enorm gemist worden, niet alleen door mij 💔❤️

Een genaaldvilt roodborstje. De vleugels zijn van een bruine stof, als verwijzing naar hoe ze graag bezig was met naaien.
