Watch the 60 Minutes Segment CBS Didn't Want You to See
A Canadian affiliate accidentally posted the segment Bari Weiss killed. It's just a normal 60 Minutes report, which is exactly the problem.

Incredibly sad to hear about James Ransone, an extremely talented actor who made every film and TV series more beautiful, from THE WIRE to SINISTER and beyond.

Sometimes you work with cast or crew just once. Other times you make 5 movies with the same person. So instead of saying goodbye, on the last day of shooting, many of us say “See you on the next one.”

Today, I don’t want to say goodbye, so let me just say, PJ, my friend, see you on the next one.

They’re actually redacting Trump’s name AFTER the release.
🚨 The DOJ appears to have redacted Donald Trump’s name from the allegations made in this exhibit in the Epstein files.

Trump’s name was in the original release. Now, it’s blacked out.

See for yourself.

Once when we wanted to show the ineffectual dithering of The Good Place Committee, we had one of them say, "There are rules, procedures. This is The Good Place -- we can't just *do stuff.*" We almost didn't include it, because we thought it was a little on the nose.
WELKER: Massie and Khanna say they are looking at options including impeachment and contempt for DOJ officials. Would you support those steps?

KAINE: I think that's premature

Every time I think "I'm not going to cry" at the end of Return of the King I'm proven wrong.

Making art with other people is a magical experience when it works. This trilogy is a testament to that by virtue of its production.

KIM: Have you had a convo w/POTUS about using the FCC to go after critics?

CARR: Heheh. I don't get into the specifics of conversations

K: Would it be appropriate for him to give you direction to pressure media companies?

C: I'm not gonna get into hypotheticals

K: The easy answer is 'no'

This is an important moment, and we need to explain to the public why it's important.

An agency with the power to decide who gets to broadcast is supposed to be independent from the president so it won't abuse that power. If it's not, then we are letting the president seize the power to censor.
LUHAN: Is the FCC an independent agency?

CARR: I think th---

L: Yes or no

C: There's a test for this in the la---

L: It's yes or no, Brendan! On your website, it simply says, man, 'the FCC is independent.' This isn't a trick question

C: The FCC is not

L: So is your website lying?

Year-end tributes tend to honor the famous. I'm thinking of A'millah Currie, 2, and Darnell Currie Jr., 9.

In February, their mom sought help from Detroit's homeless response system. No one called back. Shelter beds were available.

The kids died of carbon monoxide in the van they were living in.

One of my favorite Rob Reiner anecdotes is that he was inspired to change the original ending of When Harry Met Sally after meeting Michele Singer, resulting in one of the best all-time rom-coms.
