I searched “Jimmy Eat World Vegas” on YouTube to see if anyone recorded it. The top result is AI slop that I can only describe as a poorly written essay about what goes on at a concert. The internet is so stupid now. youtu.be/r2iMpzziUpQ?...

"The richest man in the world and the owner of the most influential social media site in US politics is a nazi who openly supports and amplifies other nazis" would, on its face, seem to be rather newsworthy!

Hey news people: I know you like to pretend this doesn't exist, but you need to pay attention to the Nazi drama on Twitter. Basically, it seems as if Elon just restored two major neo-Nazi accounts that were banned by his product head, and might be about to fire the product head for banning them

This version is confirmed, by Hoffman Estates police, puncturing the official DHS statement.

At this point, there is a statement from DHS re 🧊 activities in the Chicago area that’s refuted in similar fashion on nearly a daily basis at a minimum over the past week

Despite what some, including at DHS, are claiming, this video isn’t from a year ago in Chicago. It was Friday in Hoffman Estates, in my district, a street I’ve walked myself. It appears to show a child being violently detained by ICE. It’s real, and I’m demanding accountability.

And if the teams start to brawl after the game that’s fine. They’ll be gone by then. Field justice.

That Falcons touchdown should count. Just like the Lions trick play last night, Rule of Cool should supersede any league rules.

This is the Super Bowl for boomers on Facebook. They have the day off and they are absolutely jacked up with ahistorical takes about why it’s actually called Columbus Day.

ICE kidnapped a 7th-grader with a pending asylum claim and spirited him out of state without notifying his parents, seemingly with the cooperation of the local police in Everett, MA.

A 13-year-old boy was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Everett after an interaction with members of the Everett Police Department and sent to a juvenile detention facility in Virginia, according to his mother and immigration lawyer Andrew Lattarulo.

The boy’s mother, Josiele Berto, was called to pick her son up from the Everett Police Department on Thursday, the day he was arrested. After waiting for about an hour and a half, she was told her son was taken by ICE, Berto told the Globe in a phone interview.

“My world collapsed,” Berto said in Portuguese.

From the police department, the boy was taken to ICE’s holding facility in Burlington on Thursday evening, where he spent a night before being transferred by car to the Northwestern Regional Juvenile Detention Center in Winchester, Va., on Friday morning, his mother said. The juvenile facility is more than 500 miles away from Everett.

The boy is a 7th-grader at Albert N. Parlin School in Everett, his mother said. The teen and his family, who are Brazilian nationals, have a pending asylum case and are authorized to work legally in the United States, Lattarulo said.
