"There's this added strain while you're there in Gaza, knowing that you are a target, even as an international aid worker, because you are a doctor."

Our sincere thanks to Dr Mohammed Mustafa for joining our Delivering Healthcare in Gaza webinar.

The ALP didn't bother negotiating with the Libs when it changed IR laws, but now apparently it needs LNP support for environmental protection changes.

When govts want to do something, they do it.
When they don't, they use bipartisanship as the excuse.

No one here should fall for it

The electorate voted for a senate that has a majority of ALP and Greens.

Murray Watt and the ALP are choosing instead to write laws that will please the LNP and mining companies.

This is not the outcome a majority of Australians voted for.
I’m getting weary of this. This government is representative of what the people of this place want. The argument is with all of us. Turning it into a constant personalised political snipe belittles the nature of the problem.
Thanks to Murray and his ALP pals, weather reports like this will become increasingly scary and weird

Why was David Marr so obsessed that Chris Hedges' tour was being organised by an anti-genocide advocacy group, but not at all concerned that the National Press Club is sponsored by the wealthiest, most complicit genocide enabling weapons manufacturers in the entire world? 🤷‍♂️

What is the point of a @leanaustralia.bsky.social Environment Champion who has had absolutely nothing to say about how worryingly @australianlabor.bsky.social's EPBC reforms are shaping up for environment protection & conservation❓

(no claims of 'blindsiding' with bilateral agreements, Mr Burns?)
Incredibly disappointing.
Always thought David Marr was one reasonable and objective.
As an interviewer he was just objectionable.

“The environment minister wants to pass a major re-write of federal nature laws this year, encouraging miners to lobby the Coalition to work with Labor to help rush it through parliament in the final three sitting weeks”

Just contemplate that sentence.

With climate trigger axed Labor wants to rush new environmental laws through after ‘positive’ talks with Coalition
Proposed timeframe leaves 12 days to scrutinise most significant changes to national environmental protection regime since 1999

Watt(W)TAF?

Just when you thought the bar couldn’t go lower

A climate trigger in the EPBC Act was a great idea for labor when in opposition but not so great when they’re in government?

Ok, got it.

BREAKING📢 Crack team of climate scientists show "it is no longer defensible for companies proposing new or extended fossil fuel projects to claim the climate harms will be negligible. Our research shows the harms are, in fact, tangible and quantifiable – and no project is too small to matter"
For the first time, we linked a new fossil fuel project to hundreds of deaths. Here’s the impact of Woodside’s Scarborough gas project
The results challenge claims that the climate risks posed by an individual fossil fuel project are negligible or cannot be quantified.
