‘as party tries to find compromise while complying with supreme court ruling on gender’ you know, the Labour Party is currently in power with a huge majority and could just change the law if they wanted to, but they clearly like this cruel stupid bullshit

An independent taskforce *just* did a huge review of ADHD in England, and the conclusion was that it's "under-recognised, under-diagnosed and under-treated."

Hey Wes, I can save you the trouble. The reason a lot of people are struggling with their mental health in the UK is it fucking sucks here. Aside from usual late-stage capitalism stuff, everything that could be cool about living here has been systematically made worse by people like you, you cunt.

Not only are trannies worth fighting for, we’re worth fighting for AS trannies, as what we are right here and now. Not only if we’re part of some other group that matters.

We matter no matter what people think we are, no matter what standards of gender we do or do not meet.
at some point you have to stand up and say "I think trannies are worth fighting for and deserve dignity" and that's the one thing no one wants to actually commit to

Repeatedly, charities have chosen to cooperate with the ongoing exclusion of trans people from public life rather than take a serious risk to defend us. They will survive this shit. We fucking won't. Girl guiding or the People's History Museum or whatever get to do on. We die alone.

If your choice is between an existential risk to your organisation, vs being a fascist collaborator, and you make the difficult choice to be a collaborator...

...then you are still a collaborator.
Like, I'm sorry the fascists are giving you difficult choices. But that's what fascists fucking do. The only legit answer is "fuck you make me". The only answer that shows you have actual fucking principles not preferences is "fuck you make me". And that sucks. But here we are.

The draft EHRC Code of Practice, as reported in the Times, now admits that there is no way to enforce the anti-trans bathroom ban other than based on policing the appearance and gender presentation of all service users.

I know I say this an awful lot on the podcast but please, please, please email your MP before this atrocious, anti-trans guidance is laid in front of parliament.
🚨This is an emergency🚨

This Government is currently sitting on an EHRC Code of Practice that will lead to the segregation and exclusion of trans people in public life.

Data indicates that dogs are considerably MORE likely to eat their owners after they die than cats are.

I like to periodically remind people of this
we spent thousands of years breeding dogs to like humans and collaborate with us - we have more of a “begrudging standoff between equals” thing going on with pigs

However to be fair dogs eat humans way more than most people know or want to know
