It’s no accident that DHS Secretary Kristi Noem shot and killed a 14-month-old puppy and now oversees ICE.

(I observed at the time of her appointment that her killing of the dog probably made her a more attractive candidate for the position.)

This is Chop. He was shot and killed by masked assailants in plain clothes who go by ICE. They showed up at his door "looking for migrants after receiving a tip." The son of the family asked if they could wait before entering the home while he put Chop away in the bathroom, as the dog can be aggressive with strangers.
According to the family, it is at this point that the son went to his pickup truck to retrieve his ID and a Border Patrol agent entered the home, opened the bathroom door, and shot Chop. None of the agents helped the family, who desperately tried to render aid to Chop, as he bled to death on the kitchen floor. Unsurprisingly, the agent who shot their dog then hid from them and refused to give his name. Even more unsurprising, they did not find any evidence of the migrants they were there to terrorize in the first place.
Do not open your door for these fucking losers. Rest easy Chop

And doctors! There was such a free dissemination of ideas, teaching by professors and experts, problem awareness & solving of the system. Medtwitter was a solid force for good. When the pandemic started Trump info was from there, as if CDC irrelevant because medtwitter, but, neither exist now.

Today following outreach from @thejusticedept, Facebook removed a large group page that was being used to dox and target @ICEgov agents in Chicago.
The wave of violence against ICE has been driven by online apps and social media campaigns designed to put ICE officers at risk just for doing their jobs. The Department of Justice will continue engaging tech companies to eliminate platforms where radicals can incite imminent violence against federal law enforcement.

cases can drag on for decades, ask DJT he manipulated the courts every time he lost (which was every time he was sued-hundreds of times). People wrongly accused who have the right and need to fight cannot afford to, while coercive ex-husband/cults/billionaires can exploit the systems indefinitely

I can’t help but think today about how many young people were savaged on social media, branded as anti-semites and abandoned by their schools for daring to call for a ceasefire. I remember saying that it was the first time I can remember that calling for ceasefire was regarded as a hostile demand.
