Last week, ICE arrested and separated a father and son after a routine check-in. Six-year-old Yuanxin had just enrolled in the first grade at an elementary school in Astoria. Now he's in custody, alone. ICE won't say where. This cruelty serves no one. It must end.

Reminder that HasanAbi continued to defend Ethan Klein after the podcast ended *and* that he scolded his chat for saying that they knew Ethan Klein was bad before Hasan did.
It also frustrated me when Hasan told his chat not to say "we knew all along" regarding Ethan Klein. I can't speak for the individual chat members who Hasan was addressing, but Hasan's audience as a whole *did* know all along about Ethan, and Hasan defended Ethan until Ethan made the content nuke.

Remember, these regime-changers *do not* care about democracy. This is pure PR narrative. The US gladly coups democratically elected leaders (Mosaddegh, Lumumba, Allende, etc), and gladly props up actual autocracies (Saudi, Jordan, Egypt, etc) if it serves their interests.

Do Mamdani supporters know what he's done since the election? Because a lot of them are making excuses for his slate of bad decisions since then, while others are arguing that he's powerless and can't do anything because he hasn't taken office yet, so we can't judge him. Very weird behavior.
