Every morning I’m like What now?

This account is mostly political. It’s where I go to discuss the ongoing shit show, exchange ideas on how to push back against trump 2.0, and vent. Happy to engage in challenging discussions but maga is blocked on sight.
Pinned
I (and others) have caught a lot of flak on here for calling out the pathetically tepid response to trump’s unexpected rapid dismantling of the federal government.

The main question I get is “what can a minority party do” and here are some of my ideas…would love to hear yours!

If the Venezuelan sailors were enemy combatants, then the 2nd strike is a war crime.

If the Venezuelan sailors weren’t enemy combatants, then both strikes are criminal murder.

It’s that simple.

The hypocrisy is stunning.
Habba: There were individuals that were saying that this should be a safe harbor, a safe haven. Why? America is America because we protect our own.

The house and senate have both expressed interest in investigating the strike on survivors of the first boat strike.

Both Hegseth and adm Bradley will need to answer some questions.

This is why a reminder to not follow illegal orders is important

@democrats-judiciary.house.gov @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social today would be a good day to submit privelaged articles of impeachment against hegseth
Exclusive: Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth gave an order to “kill everybody” in the first strike on suspected drug boats in the Caribbean. After two men survived, the mission commander ordered a second strike to comply with Hegseth’s instructions, according to two sources.

Every single congressional Democrat needs to be out there, right now, insisting that Pete Hegseth resign right now and announcing that he will be held accountable for committing war crimes.

If you do not demand accountability here and now, they will only become more emboldened.

In Brazil, where they have a functional justice system, former president Bolsonaro just started a 27 year prison sentence for his attempted coup.
