The government still claim that they have to consult with the Attorney General about including services alongside goods in the #OccupiedTerritoriesBill. In fact, the AG previously delivered 23 pages of legal advice, which did not flag the need for any distinction between goods and services.

For an alternative view (of the views in MSM in Ireland and the UK) on Russian ships ‘lurking’ off the coast of Scotland/Ireland here’s a worthwhile read:

In fascist lockstep, the entire British media, broadcast and print, corporate and state, is leading with a Ministry of Defence press release about a “Russian spy ship” inside “British waters”. No Brit...

Sadly, THE best PM the UK never had:
History will judge this government very harshly for its cruel and inhumane treatment of asylum seekers.

Today is World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims. Everyone has been affected, or knows someone who has been effected, by accidents on our roads. Sadly, the number of deaths on Irish roads has been rising for the past number of years.

Excellent article. If you voted for Catherine Connolly for @president.ie then this excellent article will resonate.

If you didn’t vote for Catherine well, this article, if you haven’t read this reasoning before, might enlighten you.

Article with @dondeniamh.bsky.social & Rory Rowan in today's Irish Times - a response to the relentless media commentary deriding Ireland's neutrality.

As Catherine Connolly, and the movement behind her, has shown, neutrality remains popular. Something to build on, not abandon.
