I refused to listen to 'Los Thuthanaka' when it came out to good reviews because the cover is absolutely appalling but I'll give in now it's hitting the top of lots of AOTY lists

Just seen the penalty incident again and it gets worse every time you see it. The VAR and ref were definitely based their decision on things they saw before the ball was even in play. Another on the big pile of 're-refereeing' mistakes.

Somewhere in a Roman brickyard, around 1800 years ago, a fresh tile was drying ahead of firing - until a dog trotted straight across it.
Centuries later, the tile has made it into a museum: not because of an emperor, but thanks to one dog who accidentally walked his way into history.🧵1/2

Missed the first 80mins of that tonight and somehow I feel like I've watched a whole game of football in ten minutes

Is that a Kim Jong-il commemorative plate in the background?

Revisiting this as I've seen it on a few end of year lists and I don't recall it being particularly noteworthy on first listen. Not sure what planet I was on that day, it's spectacular.

Apologies, bit of a personal post. My wife had an embryo transfer this week for what we're hoping will be our second child. Her mum is terminally ill and paid for our treatment. I'm writing her a letter with everything I want to say to her in it and I am heartbroken.

Vicario always fronts up and shows his face, pathetic to boo him during a game, I don't care how much you've paid to be there.

I fear that Tottenham are basically as bad right now as they were in January/February, but with less mitigation, less credit in the bank for the manager, and without the sense of shared purpose provided by the Europa League campaign.

Really enjoying this, great tv. Nobody plays 'snivelling little toad' like Matthew McFadden.

Not that anything matters anymore but just on a personal level that mid 2010s period where these people got to feel like staunch antiracists by opposing the only viable left wing alternative to the shitshow we’re facing now was some of the most galling stuff I’ve ever lived through

Stephen Miller is now arguing that assimilation is fundamentally impossible and that certain cultures are not compatible with Western civilization
