Just seen the penalty incident again and it gets worse every time you see it. The VAR and ref were definitely based their decision on things they saw before the ball was even in play. Another on the big pile of 're-refereeing' mistakes.

Revisiting this as I've seen it on a few end of year lists and I don't recall it being particularly noteworthy on first listen. Not sure what planet I was on that day, it's spectacular.

Apologies, bit of a personal post. My wife had an embryo transfer this week for what we're hoping will be our second child. Her mum is terminally ill and paid for our treatment. I'm writing her a letter with everything I want to say to her in it and I am heartbroken.

I fear that Tottenham are basically as bad right now as they were in January/February, but with less mitigation, less credit in the bank for the manager, and without the sense of shared purpose provided by the Europa League campaign.
