Truncated menu for thanksgiving this year, as it’s just me, the kid, and mom, and she’s at the rehab facility after breaking her hip two weeks ago.

I'm proud of finishing my book, & I think it's good.
I'm proud of my prowess in the kitchen. I'm a good cook.
I'm proud that I've learned how to be a good friend.

It's really pretty simple: If people don't pay for books, authors can't afford to keep publishing them. No amount of arguing that pirating books is moral actually will change that fact. Find a way to support authors, or enjoy a future where the only new books are written by out-of-touch billionaires
I'm blocking everyone who parrots "they weren't going to buy it anyway" because that used to be the case. Now, it's the Boycott Amazon people, which *everyone* said would happen bc sales dropped like a rock overnight as pirated stuff went up.
