It requires enabling them access to scrape your data, and has an alarming amount of private data being used for it.

I do gotta say I'm glad that at the beginning of the year I uninstalled and cancelled my subscription to it. Was for the better and saves a good bit money. Could always use other streaming services that are cheaper and even support artists more
