The Accessibility Commissioner Christopher T. Sutton had the honour yesterday of being a part of the Canadian Association of the Deaf’s Deaf flag raising ceremony on Parliament Hill. Deaf culture is a part of our Canadian identity, and it is wonderful to see that being celebrated.
It’s International Sign Languages Day!

Sign languages are full and recognized languages. Accessibility means ensuring Deaf people can connect, work, and participate without barriers.
