I was born and raised in Detroit through the 60s and 70s. As Black children, our parents and teachers prepared us for school field trips to Greenfield Village. Dearborn was a sundown town and has remained hostile to Black people. They sowed that hatred, so let them reap the whirlwind.
This comes to my mind every time I see one of those "he turned on us after we voted for him" stories.
