Tremendously useful, particularly the advice for mobile search. The trick here is to follow the instructions properly, including visiting tenbluelinks.org *first*, then opening a new tab and performing a search.
I generally don't notice 'til some time Sunday evening, when it finally dawns on me why the time's different by an hour when I go into the kitchen, but was reminded today by a colleague in Pakistan pointing out our morning meeting times change by an hour next week, for them anyway.

Calling Tolkien Bluesky: would any of you lovely people be able to share a digital copy of The Revised and Expanded Letters of JRRT and/or Tolkien's Faith by Holly Ordway with me? I own both but am traveling and need some specific quotes and page numbers for a couple projects I'm working on.

In my own critical toolbox "Doing a Zhukov" is knowing you have an important character you have to enter late into the plot, so you have to make them walk in and shrug their enormous coat off so everyone knows it and falls instantly in love.
Ah yes, Fireworks Season's in full swing. Actually the first ones I heard were four days ago, but here we are, Friday evening, still light outside and some fucker's already vandalising everyone else's peace and quiet because, big bangs I guess? It can't be for the spectacle.

I’m excited to play music sooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnn.
Flipping heck, only our biggest most demanding customer could manage to break the system this badly on a Friday afternoon. Hopelessly naΓ―ve of us to think a 64GB data file size limit was adequate I guess, even though it's been fine for everyone else for decades. Solution formulated, but sheesh.
I was slightly surprised to find Maude Hirst who played Helga, who went full merkin out in season one (?), was his daughter.
I see no issues with this line of reasoning whatsoever. πŸ‘Œ

I enjoyed the earlier seasons when I could see some vague resemblance to what little we know of Viking history, albeit somewhat (?) mashed together, but lost the plot as I felt it got increasingly soap operatic.

Oh my stars and garters.
Oh my god some fucking tech dingdong posted this on Twitter with the caption "AI games are going to be amazing" totally seriously, you have to watch it. You have to. In full screen.
I think my brain just crashed to desktop. What the merry hell did I just watch?
I've realised belatedly I've committed to friends' birthday and Hallowe'en parties on the next two Saturdays, and that's bad enough. At least I'll have Sundays to decompress. Days at a time, oof!
No danger of that Robin I'm sure. 🀨
Pay no attention to that black van parked inconspicuously outside. It is absolutely not part of a conspiracy to make sure you're not left in peace. πŸ™„
I feel this in my very bones. πŸ’œ

The current Labour Party's contempt *for people who actually voted Labour* does not bode well here.
This was such a problem in 2010 - an arrogant assumption that *obviously* the Lib Dems would bail them out, despite the disdain the party was shown. There does need to be some wooing.
Like, if Labour want LD and Green voters to like them and be willing to vote tactically for them, that has to be an active process, and a worryingly large number of Labour people's entitlement around such voters hardly helps that.
Interpretive dance in the background, that always goes down well.
