The number of Democrats still defending Biden's record & Harris' campaign, along with objecting to the protests against Harris, is further evidence that we could not have pushed Harris on the issues if she had won. Like with Biden, she would have pulled Democrats further to the right.

Did people really memorize phone numbers before cell phones, or is that just a movie thing?

I was watching some old shows from the 90s and noticed people would just dial numbers from memory - like they'd call their friends or family without looking anything up.
Made me wonder if that was actually normal back then? Did people genuinely have all their important numbers memorized, or did most folks keep a little address book or written list nearby?

I remember once talking with a legislative draftsperson who worked at a high level in government who told me that they voted against every constitutional amendment that they drafted. By the same token it is perfectly possible for someone who is ‘pro-European’ (whatever that is)…

Cases against the state don't show the state's legal reps in the High Court search. Put on your Fitbit and go touch grass. We know you have a Fitbit and some hiking/cycling gear. High time you used them.

I fear that in the debate over protesting Harris we will lose the fact that the person most responsible for the genocide in Occupied Palestine is Joe Biden.

The man is not an uwu smol bean grandpa. He attacked Anita Hill and helped put Clarence Thomas on SCOTUS.
