the 9th cir decision overruling the TRO might be the funniest "per curiam" i've ever seen? it's an unsigned opinion written by "the court" as a three judge panel, but has a concurring opinion and a dissenting opinion attached

This is a pretty bad specific example though. Harkaway‘s written enough fiction and nonfiction that he probably means the words he says and not your implicit “and it would be bad if it happened here”
