I think we should go back to glass bottles & jars for packaging ALL pre-prepared food & drink.

Glass is near-infinitely recyclable and the improvement for both human health and the health of the environment would be significant.

The trailblazing transgender rights activist Miss Major has passed away at the age of 78.

Miss Major was a lifelong organizer and participant in the ballroom scene. She took part in the 1969 Stonewall Riots and was injured by the police — but she kept fighting.

It's hard to describe how brave and unflinching Bronski Beat seemed in 1984 in Holy Catholic Ireland™ when homosexuality was still criminalised.

María Corina Machado received the Nobel Peace Prize in October 2025. Many see this as a "sign against Trump." At the same time, it is alleged that Machado is in- volved in ultraright networks, supported by the US, pursues a privatization agenda, and supported the Carmona coup in 2002.

Fact check: CAUTION
Machado did indeed receive the Nobel Peace Prize.
However, she doesn't represent a break with authoritarian forces, but rather their other side: She is part of transnational right-wing conservative to right-wing radical networks, economically liberal to the extreme, and closely aligned with US interests. In an interview, she explicitly praised Donald Trump and spoke of his "unwavering support" for her fight against Maduro politically, Machado fits more into Trump and Vox's camp than against them. The interpretation of the prize as an "anti-Trump signal" is therefore misleading.

Alternative medicine should be an opt-in thing, not a state standard. If this guy is to have a prominent position, it should be matched with a science-based surgeon general. This woo/quackery is dangerous, and Ladapo should be held personally liable when it goes wrong (and it will).
