Donald Trump announces his a "trade deal" with Vietnam, which increases taxes on American consumers while decreasing taxes on Vietnamese consumers.

The zero-rate tariff offer in Vietnam was proposed on April 4. He's essentially done nothing in 3 months.

It is my Great Honor to announce that I have just made a Trade Deal with the Socialist Republic of Vietnam after speaking with To Lam, the Highly Respected General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam. It will be a Great Deal of Cooperation between our two Countries. The Terms are that Vietnam will pay the United States a 20% Tariff on any and all goods sent into our Territory, and a 40% Tariff on any Transshipping. In return, Vietnam will do something that they have never done before, give the United States of America TOTAL ACCESS to their Markets for Trade. In other words, they will “OPEN THEIR MARKET TO THE UNITED STATES,” meaning that, we will be able to sell our product into Vietnam at ZERO Tariff. It is my opinion that the SUV or, as it is sometimes referred to, Large Engine Vehicle, which does so well in the United States, will be a wonderful addition to the various product lines within Vietnam. Dealing with General Secretary To Lam, which I did personally, was an absolute pleasure. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

Not a bad idea for #PokemonGo players though not confident this is the last day before the level changes. So far no sign of it.

Screenshot of pokemon go for the player ToastPokes. Player is level 42, appears to be tossing a ball. There are a bunch of stats. It's not a particularly impressive account tbf.

As an ex-secondary teacher, may I point out that the teachers do not run the exams. An independent person with non-teaching staff run the exams. We have nothing to do with public exams and neither we should. We've done our job; it's a perfect time to strike. Teachers are giving up own time.

Oh yeah, good call. It's still there. Huh. So basically instead of getting promoted earlier than everyone else, we just got horked on the XP Challenges. Which... fine. I was stuck on 40 excellent throws anyway. I /might/ have finished it today. It was making me stressed. Glad it's gone.

The XP Challenge missions are gone but we're stilling getting double XP from catches. That makes sense programmatically. If you had a timed research that expired, standard existing code would take it down. You've had the different values for catches in as well. So basically they didn't do anything.
