I always wondered what it was like for scientists trying to pull the curtain down to expose AIDS or that tobacco causes cancer.

This is it. We’re living in truly wild times.

“I exercise to prevent CVD and dementia.”

“I don’t smoke because, it causes lung cancer and heart disease & makes everything smell.”

Ok… so instead you choose to freely breathe in the biohazard that causes vascular disease, brain damage, AIDS-like conditions, and loss of smell.

Make it make sense

Just curious…

Hands up if you just believe the science you publish and you think everything else is bullshit?

I’m referring to the half-decade of research & half-million publications showing SARS-CoV-2 can lead to new and worsening health conditions of every variety.

I’m talking to you academia.

Proud of Keira and Fiona for making the Big 12 doubles finals — and taking down Danville’s #1 team along the way (the second time they beat them this month). Great chemistry, grit, and sportsmanship. Central girls tennis keeps proving it’s not just one player carrying the banner.
One example of the horrible coverage - most recent News-Gazette article that fails to mention Keira’s win or Keira and Fiona’s 2nd place finish!

Central HS girls 🎾 deserves better coverage. My daughter Keira (freshman #2 singles) is 21–1 this season and just won her bracket at the Big 12—her 3rd tournament win (Gold, Purple, Big 12). The paper keeps featuring the same player. Please start covering the whole team.

They have X amount of hours of use before the lights either burn out or lose substantial efficacy. Some places like Sterilray have claimed their excimers give 30,000 hours of continuous use, but that’s been refuted by Nukit. Their claim is 3-4k hours.

But that wasn’t the point. The point is when measles cases are detected they shut down schools, hospitals and other facilities. They contact trace. They treat it seriously. And measles can wipe immune memory & do lots of horrible shit. But SARS-2 is worse & likely transmits as easily or more so.
drseanmullen.bsky.social
R0 of measles is often estimated to be between 12 and 18. R0 of SARS-2 has been estimated to be 10-20 for the latest variant but that’s not really the point. Measles is BSL-2 for diagnostic research and for propagation, whereas SARS-2 is-3 for propagation & was downgraded to -2 for political reasons

Look, 222 & 254nm are effective & you only want the former (not the latter) to make direct contact w/your eyes & skin. They produce minuscule amounts of ozone. They are safe but expensive & they don’t last long (~2yrs). They also aren’t perfect. I wouldn’t give up my mask in a germicidal light space
drseanmullen.bsky.social
Equivalent? None. All viruses carry risk, but nothing works as fast and extends as far as SARS-CoV-2 except some other BSL-3 viruses and higher, BUT we don’t just let them rip through society. We contain them.
drseanmullen.bsky.social
And why don’t you at least put purifiers in your classrooms? And why care so much about highly rare theoretical dangers as part of an IRB protocol when there’s a huge threat to bringing anyone into an academic or clinical research environment… infection will ruin outcome data & accelerate disease.

I hate the character limits on Bluesky. To be more specific: One study we reviewed found that ‘immune-boosting exercise’ appeared in about 30% of COVID-related search results — despite no scientific evidence to support the claim.

We found a link between SARS-CoV-2 reinfection & #longCOVID, & a post-pandemic rise in thrombotic events across all populations, regardless of vaccination or prior infection. Findings support continued COVID diagnosis in suspected cases & mask use by healthcare workers treating respiratory patients

4 more tools aren’t displaying. Trying to fix right now.

People have been asking me to post a thread with all of the tools I’ve developed.

Instead: How about a single site to browse & access them all? And try out the upgraded Physical Activity Guidelines Quiz & share your results!

Only an administration intent on committing war crimes in the present and future would stoop to calling Wounded Knee a "battle" rather than what it truly was: a massacre of over 250 Lakotas, mainly women, children, and the elderly. 1/

So tablet devices no but MacBook and laptop and phones work.

So much for what I learned about mobile-responsiveness.

Thanks for letting me know. I’m not like a pro or anything… testing out on multiple platforms & devices is prob what a pro would do eh? Amateur move over here 😂

Note to self:
Check multi platforms AND devices before shipping.
