OMG if @richardclegg.bsky.social isn't already following, he needs to.
As a Sheffield DJ who played Moloko, total fistbump. Horrified she turned TERF.
My beloved always says he's a riff bloke and not lyrics but put in a solid 2 hours singing along to 40 Hits of 1975 at the BBC a few days ago. In denial, obvs, but I love that we all have a soundtrack on recall.
I've bought some reissues, and obscure compilations, and not even played them yet because I can just hear them but needed a prod of reading the titles. It's been bugging me today, given the news, that The Grid's Swamp Thing was one of the first things I DJed off CD but can't remember which club!

*cackles in Gothmas season appreciation*
I rode my bike by some kids and I was wearing *an outfit* and they started singing circus music (fair) and so I just looked straight at them and said “6-7” and they screamed. I hope an old person saying it ruined it for them. Happy spooky season.
Drop an old person you're going to turn into in the future. I'm going hybrid.

The rikishi are taking-in the town and doing what we all do when in London.
Seeing the sights, admiring the parks, shopping on High Street, taking tea at Fortnum's, using the olde phonebox, eating Chinese, and having a terrific time.
Totally adorable! 😍
The thousand year old sport is kicking it in front the thousand some year old monument. #londonsumo #stonehenge

“Don’t you know who I am, User?”
Why is Starmer always on the wrong side every single time?
I mean, he's a lawyer, and he claims to be a football fan, but seems oblivious to some fans of certain teams routinely being banned from attending matches, and even some matches being played behind closed doors. It's basic stuff!
This is amazing!
The BBC are accidentally running the subtitles to Mrs Marple over the Mercury Prize, and it’s rather wonderful. A few of lines could plausibly have been written by Jarvis.

I've never heard of that but it's on iPlayer so I'll happily take the recommendation!
I immediately went looking for a live feed but found nothing. ☹️

I would like someone, anyone, to stand up at a tech conference full of AI bros praising genAI and ask them 1) why are there are just so many tools for making fake nudes and 2) why does every genAI art tool that people use for porn generate pics of women who look somewhat underage?
I've replied on the original post 😊
Not the Fiesta - that was more like a cabaret club with dining tables around the outside, and Bonaparte's casino was a separate venue on the same precinct.
It's Bailey's/The Cavendish on Bank Street, later to become Romeos & Juliets, Cairo Jax/Silks and eventually Corporation.
Same, especially as we'll be on post GBBO catch up.
