Queen Bjork demanded a boycott and, lo, there was a boycott.
Well done Iceland. Portugal next!

🇮🇸 Iceland confirms WITHDRAWAL from Eurovision Song Contest 2026 because of Israel’s inclusion.

A brave and just stand from a principled nation. Iceland joins Ireland, Spain, Netherlands, Slovenia in boycotting Eurovision 2026 because of the Gaza genocide carried out by Israel.

Yep that's exactly what it is. And alongside a cultural boycott of Israel there should be a sporting boycott, an academic boycott, and more! Back BDS

It’s the time of year when I do my Christmas auction. This mouse icon is up for auction and it’s to raise money for Shelter Cymru & Doctors without borders. 100% of the money raised will go to these charities on a 50-50 basis.

A Prince of the Realm has recently been stripped of his public status in its entirety so shrugging and saying 'sorry, nothing we can do guv!' in relation to senior police officers found culpable of gross misconduct is neither acceptable nor convincing.

When I was in 6th Form, one of these was installed in a newly partitioned room in the school library. Only boys doing Maths and at least one Science at A Level were allowed to use it. They had to wear lab coats.
The BBC Micro is 44 years old today, Happy Birthday! However, many customers had to wait until early 1982 for delivery of theirs due to limited supply availability before Christmas. During its lifespan just over 1.5 million were sold - exact figures are not known. I still have my original one.

You would think the alleged indiscretions of the youthful Nigel Farage would have drawn outrage from a just and impartial British media. Strangely, it seems they have not

Anyone who has seen the transformative effect international students have had on cities like Sheffield knows what Smith is saying is absolute bobbins!
Tony Smith on Ch4News saying international students should be limited because they’re “economically inactive”.

International students pay around £27k p.a. in fees to their universities, at least half again to landlords and they spend their parents’ hard-earned money in local shops.

2.7 million people who qualify for Universal Credit are in work, but receive such a low income that tax payers need to pay them enough to survive. It's not people on benefits who are freeloading off us, it is businesses paying their workers too little.
