Designer of medical devices…maybe even some used on you. Ok, a little more…I like dogs, especially greyhounds. Yes, I know the dog in the picture is not a greyhound.

Thought I should probably post something in case anyone happens by due to a response I’ve made. I don’t post often; mostly read. I am absolutely loving BSky. Just being able to both block and follow easily with lists makes this place infinitely more enjoyable to peruse than the dying place.
If people believe we are currently living under an authoritarian fascist regime, there is no reason to vote in 2026. While 2026 is sure to be problematic, if people do show up in overwhelming numbers, the tide can be turned back. If not, then we move onto the next phase of dealing with fascism
It’s illegal, but the only avenue to stop him is impeachment. Tearing down the White House, demanding $230m (soon to be billions more), murdering people in the ocean, invading cities - these are all done to show us he won’t be impeached regardless of what he does.

Congress is letting damn near everything happen
The president is establishing the principle that he can order the murder of anyone he deems a threat.
And Congress is letting it happen.

What we have here, in addition to Trump's gaudy, vacuous bric-a-brac he has glued to wall in the Cabinet Room, is our monumentally incompetent SecDef telling the most unhinged president in history about an attack on another civilian small boat, this time in the Pacific.

The president should not be able to transfer millions of taxpayer dollars into his personal bank account. No government officials should be able to steal from the public like that.

Sorry to get so partisan, but that’s how I feel.
This is among the most corrupt things a president has ever suggested, and I hope the press treats it that way. www.nytimes.com/2025/10/21/u...

Platner is three years younger than I am. he's the same age as my brother. we grew up in an era when neo-Nazi white supremacy was in the news a lot. there were absolutely boys in my class who would doodle swastikas on their binders at school to be "edgy" and guess what, they became shitty adults!

This makes me sick.
That’s our House, our history.

The fact that it happened today stinks of retribution for Saturday.
Right, some posts deserve a trip to woodshed, although, I have found just blocking and moving on quite pleasant as well.
Would make for a rather short Ocean’s 4 movie.
It’s this kind of exchange why I ended up at BlueSky. A couple of riled comments followed by understanding and it’s all good. No threats, no crazy, just shake hands and move on.

"Viewpoint diversity" about whether human activity is warming the planet, or whether vaccines work, is like "viewpoint diversity" about whether the sky is blue or whether the Earth is round. It falls outside the range of good faith scientific and academic discourse.

EXCLUSIVE: One Saturday afternoon in October, my phone lit up with a notification.

I glanced down at the message.

“Anna, Lindsey Halligan here,” it began.

So began my text exchange with the woman who is prosecuting the president's perceived political enemies.

We love our Marines and owe a debt of gratitude to Camp Pendleton, but next time, the Vice President and the White House shouldn’t be so reckless with people’s lives for their vanity projects.

I said this a week after the election and have been saying it every month since. Maybe they get it now.
