Quite possibly. Labrador is also just hard to poll. Districts with smaller and more remote populations

NL was polling Liberal in the federal election too

Just another name for herbal teas basically.

Pssst: just FYI, Newfoundland and Labrador isn’t in the Maritimes. The Maritimes is NS, NB, and PEI. Lela Evans is another blue/orange candidate in this election.

The PCs flipping Liberal (and 1 NDP) seats in Labrador and Western NL is huge for them. Lots of parallels with the federal election results in NL. I don’t think the old age benefit was much of a factor.

I saw something a while ago that defined “defensive driving” as using your blinker. I was like……isn’t that just…..driving?¿?¿

😢 I’m so sorry for your loss. (And Dan’s too) Losing a pet is so hard.

It’s sooooo close so far. I had a feeling it would be a lot closer than the polls indicated.

I managed to resist showing the cops my middle finger

My “favourite” part of my afternoon bike ride home today was when HRP stopped for no reason and tried (frantically) to “kindly” wave a driver who did not have the right of way directly at me 🙃

The video has me teared up. I wish our government had an ounce of their conscience and courage and selflessness.

Covid was pretty mild for me too. I still get all my vaccines for it and still don’t want it again. Or to spread it.

Important thread for Nova Scotians:

In 2018, I asked an Australian Atlantic Gold exec why they weren’t mining gold in Australia. He said his boss liked living in Vancouver. So I asked why they were mining gold in NS, not BC. His reply: “Because the rules in NS are even more lax in N.S. than they are in BC.” www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...
N.S. government website streamlines info about mine permitting process | CBC News
A new Nova Scotia government website will make it easier for mining companies to track the progress of permit applications, but for now there are no plans to give the public access to that information...

Another person’s unprofessional actions should always outweigh your unprofessional words. But it might help to vent to someone you trust first.

We wasted an opportunity to revamp public health, an opportunity to focus on climate change, an opportunity to change our relationship with consumerism, an opportunity to flip CERB into a UBI/GBI program and stick with it….so many opportunities
