We want to double the number of people attending - because things are twice as bad now as they were at the last event!

Join us on Saturday, October 18th for the nationwide NO KINGS protest to save our democracy from the autocratic takeover by the current Republican administration. We'll gather in front of the Pacific National Bank on Main Street at 1 pm starting with Susan & Ray performing protest songs, then at 1:15 stage a public reading of the Declaration of Independence and our Bill of Rights as well as a letter to our President, all emceed by historian Peter Panchy. At 2:00 we'll finish the protest with a march around Town. We have a permit to close parts of Main Street, Federal St and Center St from 12:00 - 3:00 pm so there's room for a crowd!
Bring your signs! Bring your friends! We want to double the number of people attending - because things are twice as bad now as they were at the last event!

In town near me, a 13 yo was abducted by ICE and sent to a facility in Virginia. He is sleeping on a concrete floor with an aluminum sheet for a blanket, and is being held with adults. He calls his mother crying. I can’t imagine how traumatized this child is. 1/
