Sometimes I remember worrying that I was embarrassing when I started sharing my fanart. I fell so hard & so fast for our pirates. Then a pro comic artist I really look up to just out of the blue told me my OFMD stuff was "beautiful work". It was like he knew I needed to hear it right at that moment.

it’s also v telling to me bc he’s literally said before that most of his EP work involves helping people (usually minorities) get things made, but it’s still THEIRS. he doesn’t want control over someone else’s story. so people saying those projects suck is just insulting other artists, not him lmao.
