1/ The judge will dismiss the Comey indictment. Trump’s so stupid he’s effectively admitted it’s a vindictive prosecution, & circumstantial evidence including rejecting prosecutor recommendations, chucking the US Attorney, picking unqualified Halligan, & trying to do a perp walk corroborate that.

All I can tell you is that as a competent federal prosecutor, I did not indict a case until I was close to ready to try it, because defendants might insist on exercising their speedy-trial rights. This is evidence at best of incompetency, and at worst vindictive, fact-free prosecution.

At one point during the hearing, the judge asked the prosecution why the case can’t be tried before mid-December.

Lemons replied: We are “just getting our hands around” discovery in the case.

There’s lots of it, he added, and it includes a “significant” amount of classified information.

It’s kind of wild that the Second-Amendment-Protects-Us-From-Tyranny crowd thinks the 10th Amendment is no bar to sending National Guard troops from one state into another over a Governor’s objections. I had actually thought federalism, rather than guns, was the Constitution’s anti-tyranny strategy.
