🚨NEW🚨 A couple made millions from an anti-choking device that sucked objects out of throats, claiming it was FDA-approved.

Turns out the FDA had told them to stop selling it.

While a bunch of similar devices were on Amazon up until this week when I flagged them.

It's the fault of a lot of educational programs and some consultancies that design is misunderstood as a magic substance. The dominant lore contributes to designers being less well prepared to engage in these environments and see the true limits of their scope of decision-making and influence.

I have long believed that we should be WAY more vocal about how police and ICE constantly murder dogs, and I think this is great messaging actually.

The reality is that you can mobilize a whole lot of usually tuned-out Americans around a “someone is being mean to hecking doggos” cause.
