A cool Bluesky feature: If you take a screenshot of text with your phone and want to add alt-text, you can copy the text right there in the ALT window. It’s OCR’d for you.

It doesn’t work on web, but works great on the iPhone. No need to go back to the article you’re reading to copy from there.

I could name probably half a dozen, some of which are obvious (Training Day, Glory), others less so (Mighty Quinn, Deja Vu). I’m not sure he’s made a bad movie (not even Virtuosity).

But the role I wanted more of that we never got was Easy Rawlins (Devil in a Blue Dress).

When I see a politician who stands up for trans rights, even though I am a cis white man, I know that is a politician who will stand up for the most oppressed group in America, and therefore will stand up for everyone, trans, gay, straight, Black, Latin, Asian, anyone.
