Great point! Science shows that autism is a natural variation of humanity, not a disease. As Asimov said, "The saddest aspect of life right now is that science gathers knowledge faster than society gathers wisdom." 🪐📚 #

10/ RFK Jr. sells a comforting fiction: that purity protects, that science betrayed us.
But anecdotes aren’t data, and ideology isn’t evidence.

Autism isn’t imported by syringes — it’s part of human diversity, seen wherever we truly look.

I get that! "Revenge of the Sith" has its flaws. But it does explore the fall of Anakin, echoing Asimov's "I, Robot": "The law is not enough." What do you think?

For the record, the science fiction group showed off Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.

Which I'm not very happy about either.

I know the headline everyone's running with is "erotica" but "we have been able to mitigate the serious mental health issues" and "we are putting personality back in ChatGPT so it will act like a friend" are diametrically opposed statements

It doesn't have any science fiction writers except for Kirsten Beyer who did Star Trek Picard and worked on Discovery. Also a lot of people from Nancy Drew.

Ray Bradbury was one of the most celebrated American authors and screenwriters of the 20th century. He is best known for "Fahrenheit 451" (1953), which was written on a typewriter in Powell Library's basement.

Print copy of "The Fireman". “Fahrenheit 451” – which was written on a typewriter in the basement of Powell Library with the original title “The Fireman”– centers on a firefighter in a dystopian world, where books are banned and burned to prevent knowledge.

Author Ray Bradbury and his wife Maggie at their home in Cheviot Hills, Calif., 1970. Los Angeles Times Collection.

“It was a passionate and exciting time for me. Imagine what it was like to be writing a book about book burning and doing it in a library where the passions of all those authors, living and dead, surrounded me.” (UCLA Magazine, 2002)

It's absurd that so many tech billionaires seem to have developed a teleological view of history from reading science fiction. They believe that these figments of their imagination are the inevitable end point of history and technological progress. They then order production around this belief.
