My late father was a self-taught musician. So when I was four years old, he taught me how to play keyboards. (He could play the accordion, the oud, the mandolin, and the doumbek. All self-taught.)

"The venue is semi-wheelchair accessible" is a good place to start, but then planning a night out, more information is better than less! Accessibility is the most basic thing I look for in a venue, especially for events.

This is huge news!
UBC has developed an enzyme that can convert donor organs to type O, making them universal.
Normally a using organs of the wrong blood type causes the recipient's immune system to attack the organ, leading to failure.
