Whipped up a batch of pumpkin spice muffins... a dense, but radiant muffin, of my own design... and couldn't quite put my finger on what was missing, till it hit me: why not poooooot forth a quarter ounce green rosetta at the summit?

Haven’t had my McLaren 602 pre in the living room system before… now that I have the universal de-rumbler box in front of the amp I’m free to experiment. This thing is a real sleeper, just a fantastic phono stage.

I don't use the tone controls much but I find the treble controls occasionally invaluable to correct deficiencies or excesses in certain recordings. I've had less success making up for records that have been high pass filtered to the point of being bass restricted, but them's the breaks.

Decided to rack-mount my PSE Studio One preamp in the front room rig to match the DB systems pre. Very happy with both of these preamps, specifically the excellent phono stages and shelving tone controls. #hifi #vinyl

Update: this was my fifth or sixth #Novavax vaccine and other than a very mildly sore arm, I had zero side effects. Similar experience to all the other doses vs the other shots which tend to take me out for a day or two.
