Our catch-up billing was correct but was almost impossible to understand. NS Power is extremely week in accounting and programming.

Lots of questions about Tim Houston’s surprise shuffle of the NS cabinet. Natural Resources Minister Tory Rushton is out … was he not quite enough of a yes-man? Was he not supposed to let slip that Cabot Golf wants to occupy part of the Mabou Beach Provincial Park? So many questions needing answers.
Tim Houston is taking over as minister of everything, er, energy.

You know what? Shitty leaders think they can do everything but the best leaders hire people they trust and are capable at the job.

This kind of micromanaging doesn't end well.

Fracking is another industry that causes water problems - poisons or drains ground water.

I can't believe they'd even consider fracking after the water shortages we've had this year. I guess that's what you get from cons.

#Halifax Regional Municipality is also handing out #water to people living on wells.

Meanwhile, Sobeys and Aquaterra pay just $768.85 to #NovaScotia to take hundreds of millions of liters of water from wells in Colchester County.

Remember: Nova Scotia is still in a drought.
The Nova Scotia government is handing out $700,000 in vouchers for people with failed wells caused by the drought, so they can buy bottled water.

Two national exoneration stories today started with the efforts of @timbousquet.bsky.social and the tiny @halifaxexaminer.ca

Alberta SIRT investigating police efforts in wrongly convicting Glen Assoun

The wrongful conviction & execution of Ralph Sampson for murders that NEVER happened

And please note this story only got told by the CBC because Tim Bousquet of the Halifax Examiner spent months painstakingly researching and writing about it - a fact our national broadcaster failed to acknowledge. :-(

1. NS is in the middle of a severe drought. Fracking often wrecks the water table and domestic wells. Not a great mix

2. NS crown land is only about ΒΌ of the province. Uranium exploration and mining will make a mess of privately owned land

This guy is scary. He is very anti-democratic, not just in this case but repeatedly. And he does it so quietly that Nova Scotians don't even seem to be noticing.
Why do reporters accept SIRT's statement as fact? I doubt they have done any investigating, just quoting RCMP statement.

Or is it a deliberate effort to blame the dead woman for her own death?
Was the officer certified in use of the Tazer?

Was it the same officer who shot & killed the woman with the knife?

Why can't an officer deal with a knife non-lethally?

Check back in 2 years for the SIRT report.

Man, if they assign post-season umpiring assignments on regular season ratings, I can't imagine how bad the guys who didn't make the cut were if this guy did

The six-feet distance is such a throwback to 2020. I thought that was really jarring.
2020 - Canada blamed contact and droplets. Other than Italy, airborne was denied

Proper air filtration is needed in healthcare facilities
