Nova Scotia, our Covid forecast is now severe. About 1 of every 58 people is infected. Wear a well-fitted mask (like an N95) in public spaces. Open windows or meet outside. Booking for Covid & flu vaccines is now available.
And add to that the difficulty in finding the machine to begin with. Once you get out of your car with no machine in sight you don't know whether to go left or right or up or down or where to find the machine. If you have an appt to get to, it's highly annoying and unnecessarily stressful.
Wow! And all within a few meters/feet of the road. I spent a lot of time in Kananaskis photographing wildlife, but I was never lucky enough to see a wolf there (although I saw them other places in Alberta). Incredible footage! Thanks for sharing it.
I have spent time photographing in that area on a few occasions and I can testify as well that the Blackfeet lands are absolutely gorgeous! What a view! Beautiful shot!
on a personal note:
Hillside United church is holding the 1st annual Donna Dodsworth Memorial Food Drive on Saturday, Oct 25th.
Brave, extroverted folks will be knocking on doors asking for donations. Also an option to drop off donations at 12 flamingo drive between 10am & noon that day!

Very exciting news! Congratulations. I feel that it will be a great success!
This guy is scary. He is very anti-democratic, not just in this case but repeatedly. And he does it so quietly that Nova Scotians don't even seem to be noticing.

Yesterday in Halifax NS With three large cruise ships on the waterfront, we greet our tourists. Local TV show This Hour has 22 Minutes was behind this. Well done.
There are apparently two white squirrels in Frog Pond.
Our dictatorial Nova Scotia govt is at it again. Little by little they are quietly chipping away at democracy. They are now removing our ability to lodge complaints against municipal representatives. Perhaps Tim didn't like people complaining about his
buddy Andy Fillmore.

I never knew that authors benefitted from people borrowing books from the library, well except from the initial sale of the books. Do they actually reap benefits when people just borrow the book once it's been purchased by the library?
Chain of Lakes Trail was looking mighty nice today. Check out the big wasps' nest along the trail. (I'm not 100% sure that it's wasps? as I don't know my buzzy species.)
