Their next argument will be “You didn’t say they had to be turned on”, or “You didn’t say we had to save the footage”, or “you didn’t say the camera could not be aimed at my shoes”. And in the end, it’ll be “FOIA request denied”.

Thanks to everyone for always keeping those cameras rolling and sharing the videos online. Federal immigration officers in the Chicago area will now be required to wear body cameras, following a ruling by U.S. District Judge Sara Ellis.

Newsom: We were under the understanding that we were going to close I-5 — up to 80,000 vehicles tomorrow and Saturday. They seemed to have backed off of that. They were going to move forward with a display, but they’re not clearly sharing that with state officials.
