Majority of the people in these states went for trump, Alaska being the smallest margin, by comparison. They're about to get what they voted should happen to others (i.e. Dems, women, poc, LGBTIQA+, non-Christians, etc). My empathy for the people who voted against it.

Male ego and confidence aren't the same thing. Lots of candidates/elected officials, male and female, have confidence. Ego comes with entitlement and an apparent lack of self awareness. Our Congress, unfortunately, has plenty of people fueled by their ego -especially on the right- and it shows.
