Close the coal house door lad,
There's bairns inside.
Bairns upon the mountain side,
Bairns who saw the blackness slide,
Bairns who had no time to hide.
Close the coalhouse door lad, there's bairns inside.
Agreed. You need that trinity of Kirk Spock McCoy. Nimoy said he'd only do Khan if he had a death scene. Which he got but then regretted it. It's a brilliant film.
That's yer lot. Home time.

New exhibition I curated about Blenkinsop & Murray and their pioneering work in Leeds on display at the Middleton Railway. Really happy how it's turned out. Leeds the city which got the world in track.

Congratulations to Beckenham & West Wickham MRC on an absolutely excellent model railway show today. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Their next show is on 14 March, again at Forest Hill Boys School.

The Catholic Chapel and Center at Yale has added these (and more) quotations from various papal teachings about care and concern for immigrants to the windows outside its main meeting room. This is the kind of catechesis we need more of in the U.S. church.

On this date, Matthew Shephard died 27 years ago. He was beaten, tortured, and left for dead on fence for being gay. Please keep him and his wonderful mother Judy in your thoughts. And let's all work for a world where such horrific things do not happen to anyone. ❤️🏳️‍🌈

The Long Neolithic lives as a sense of wonder. It sits in distant fields and summons us to not only witness its stone persistence, but to engage with its slow release of mystery. Its power bends not only the landscape, but our sense of story. – Dr. K. Brophy #StandingStoneSunday
That's certainly a unique take. Very singular. But I suspect one which will be latched on to.
