Hello new followers! You have chosen, or been chosen, to relocate to one of our finest remaining social media sites. I thought so much of Bluesky that I elected to establish my presence here, in the IGN Starter Pack so thoughtfully provided by our benefactors.
The fact that you had to dig deep into the barrel of 2005-era forgotten X-play gags and 4chan shitposts to find a joke about Itagaki's passing is honestly pretty embarrassing.
Me: “How’s jury duty?”
Wife: “They keep objecting to everything and it’s annoying the hell out of me. It’s such a bad look he’s so rude!”
Me, trying to find out how to refund the gifted copy of Ace Attorney on her Switch: “Oh yeah, haha, that sounds terrible…”

Holy shit someone uploaded the entire stage play adaptation of the Yakuza videogame series with English subtitles and it’s glorious and 500x better than the Amazon show youtu.be/Z2Msr4si6dU?...
I may have screwed up with most of this year's backlog project, but I will not fail. My yearly Yakuza series playthrough must continue! I can't let Kiryu down!!!
The intro of Yakuza Kiwami 2 finds Kiryu and his adopted daughter Haruka at a cemetery. Kiryu can't believe it's been a whole year since Yakuza Kiwami 1. Honestly, neither can I.

You know how there’s been this big push towards encouraging older people to do puzzles, cognitive games, and to learn new things to keep them from succumbing to dementia?

Wonder where that’s gonna go with the rise of “outsource your cognitive functions to AI, it’ll be convenient” culture
Cognition is like strength. Use is required to not just gain, but maintain. The more thinking and cognitive work we offload, the duller we become as a result.

It's like deciding you'll use a mobility scooter without need and then figuring out a year later that you can no longer walk.
Did this on a plane and probably drew the air marshal’s attention for how mad I was getting.
Replayed on PC and found a way to make it much more manageable.

Hornet of Hollow Knight fame standing on a wooden platform above the infamous spike pits of Hunter's March. She is looking towards the viewer with the implication that they are her next target. There are slain red ant enemies (Skarrs) from the game seen in the back. Erm... Run!!!

if every democrat doesn’t use the “we took freedom of speech away” on every messaging apparatus they have every single day for the next 4 years assume they want to lose
Trump: "We took the freedom of speech away because that's been through the courts and the courts said you have freedom of speech, but what has happened is when they burn a flag it agitates and irritates crowds."
What the hell!!?? Me when I find that scammer

Stephen Miller said the quiet part out loud. Trump has “plenary authority,” then suddenly went silent. Their plan wasn’t to be public yet. Clearly, someone hit the panic button in his earpiece.

It gets weirder: CNN uploaded the interview with the “plenary authority” comment edited out.

Here’s a thing I’ll add, as someone who’s been there: if you’re the CEO of a platform with millions of users, you don’t get to have as much fun on that platform, period. And your job is to eat shit every time a legitimate critique of policy comes up. That’s the gig. Don’t sign up if you aren’t game.
i am catching up on the moderation discourse and it’s really annoying that this episode basically goes back to leadership trying to have a goof and a gag. there’s not a lot of room-reading happening which comes across as immature and unprofessional

Something from Deltarune about an old man. He's old. It's me. I'm old.
You can trace their lineage all the way to “one guy in a narrow hallway who is as tall as the hallway”.
I'd say Geoff got bodied by the microscope puzzle but he probably gave up trying to solve the tin can sentence puzzle. Always thought the vibes were off with that guy, now I know why.
William Volk would also do research on competing titles. When Volk was working on Return to Zork, the team kept a document with every comment they could find on Compuserve about The 7th Guest.

Well I would like to post my feeling on this game, and see what you guys have to say about it.

Last night when I started to play it, I was amazed at the quality of the graphics and sound. I actually enjoyed the first puzzle.

Then after the initial "WOW" of the graphics/sound wore off, I became bored with the puzzles. They all seem pretty impossible, and not very fun at all.

So all in all, I'd say the graphics/sound are the best I have seen on a PC, but it is a shame the puzzles are so "dull".

I think Trilobyte should be very proud of their first effort. I hope they plan on producing another game with these amazing graphics/sound, but try to make it a little more fun to play and include some more original puzzles.

COMMENTS on my review?

I fully understand how difficult it is to remain focused on any one particular atrocity but this really ought to be a serious scandal and people need to pay heavy prices for this
I think the Trump admin assumed no one would try to find out who the people on the boats they blew up really were
Im really digging the pace of this track. It’s the kind of catchy tune I’d want to hear screwing over my friends in a multiplayer party game.
