Republicans have sent troops into American cities to violently instigate conflict against its own citizens largely because these Republicans don’t like seeing Black and brown faces. And they want you to be afraid that they’re coming for you next. That’s pretty much the whole of it.

My second favorite team is the Dodgers because we had season tickets to the Clinton (IA) Dodgers Single A team in the 70s so I got to see guys like Steve Sax, Dave Stewart, Mike Sciosia, Mickey Hatcher, and Ron Kittle before he was traded to the White Sox
