Trump says the SNAP money that he’s been ordered by a court to release won’t be released until the government shutdown ends.

Trump: SNAP BENEFITS, which increased by Billions and Billions of Dollars (MANY FOLD!) during Crooked Joe Biden's disastrous term in office (Due to the fact that they were haphazardly "handed" to anyone for the asking, as opposed to just those in need, which is the purpose of SNAP!), will be given only when the Radical Left Democrats open up government, which they can easily do, and not before! Great effort by local restaurant to step up for the community in a crisis. Heartwarming, until you remember that it's being brought about by a bunch of authoritarians and fascists who kill thousands worldwide and at home while giving tax breaks to billionaires rather than feed/medicate the needy.

@govpritzker.illinois.gov How about getting the ISP to, you know, protect protesters in Broadview and elsewhere from the federal thugs? Wouldn't take much work for them to line up between them and turn to face the ones who're assaulting citizens. They're already there.

Anderson Cooper reports Trump’s strongman threats to punish NYC if the Mayoral candidate is elected, as if he gets to select where funding goes according to his whims, & then asks whether voters will find it “worth the hassle” to vote for him.

New incredible detail here: ICE says a match in its facial recognition app Mobile Fortify is a "definitive" determination of a person's status, and that this overrides birth certificates. This is an app ICE is using in the field to scan people

Hello Chief and APD Leadership,

I just wanted to jot a quick thank you note for those who participated in this meeting with the Latino community about ICE in our neighborhoods.

Sadly, this problem is not going away anytime soon. Historically, the police have been on the wrong side of history during the civil rights movement and the labor movement - defending capital. The pivotal points in American history are when police realized that their solidarity should be with labor; not capital.

In this current struggle, I believe that we are 2-3 years away from a moment where we see the shift in solidarity.

I would like to see Aurora lead, and show something different. It will create discomfort during the transformation. I noticed during the march towards Blue Kangaroo, when the police escort disappeared, that activists I didn't know used their vehicles to block the intersections and protect the marchers.

All living things have the capacity to evolve and grow. Government is about to go through a huge evolutionary period and shed that which is not necessary, and re-focus on what is important.

As government continues to disintegrate from the top down, we have an opportunity to re-invent the ways we find food, water, shelter and protection.

We would like the Aurora Police Department to play a historic role in defending the United States of America, and our city against fascism. We have a unique opportunity to do something different, leave our mark in the history books, and make a difference. I'm excited about the opportunity and look forward to discussing it further.

I would have thought the opposite would be true: the clouds would look white on the up-sun side and dark on the down-sun side. What very cool thing did I miss?

Yesterday morning I crossed a bridge over a river driving east. The sun was maybe 25° above the horizon. There were very low-hanging clouds over/on the bridge, and they appeared bright white.
