2. The military is not needed to handle naked cylists.
3. Everything else in Portland is less threatening than naked cyclists. (by definition)
4. Thus, the military is not needed to handle ANY threats in Portland.

Remember we're already in a world of Kavanaugh stops based solely on ethnicity. If you are from a targeted group, this can happen to you no matter what your citizenship status is. What if you forget your wallet at home? You could end up in detention for days or worse.

It's like when CNN reported that Kat Abughazaleh "landed on the ground" during a protest against ICE. It's absolutely a terrible construction designed to obscure the fact that ICE agents threw her to the ground — but it's not passive voice.

I seriously think we need to prepare for what actions should be taken if he runs for a third term and he is allowed to do so. Unlike all his other violations of the Constitution, we have ample time to prepare in advance. I hope that the response is more than just "let's hope we get more votes."
