Hi I’m Rachel (or “Nyc”). I am always trying new things. I don’t sell anything, so I don’t know where to go with this intro post. I just gather weird knowledge, and make whimsical doodles. ✨

🐸Juvenile eastern newt (Notophthalmus viridescens) - also known as a red eft.

Max. size ~127 mm (~5").

As the colour suggests, it is poisonous.

Found in eastern parts of both Canada and the US.

Considered Least Concern by the IUCN.

Nickelodeon Chewology (1996-circa 1998): A Nickelodeon-branded science project in a box, that allowed you to make your own cherry-flavored bubble gum. From the makers of "Gak" and "Floam".
