Also, is it me, or is it REALLY hard to grow an audience on this site? It's hard to transfer even a third of the peeps I once had on twitter. Even harder to get totally new folks. I know my art isn't lacking, so I wonder if the answer is to blow the dust off the ancient "draw fanart" technique. LOL
Sometimes I wonder if there are ideal "posting times" anymore. I used to post at like 4pm PST / 7pm EST always to catch the after work / school crowd but it kinda seems like it doesn't matter much anymore lol. Mystery website mechanics

The thing is, the simple act of being human is fucking awesome. We are capable of such compassion, such potential, look what we have accomplished. Medical advancements, art, architecture, yes, technology. We used to be fuckin' microbes a couple million years ago. Like dawg. Why slopify any of that
I don't like how many people are falling into complacency, AI for convenience over talking to real humans or doing work. AI "art" doesn't scare me bc I truly believe it just doesn't work, but the realistic videos, chatbots, and scams do. That's what people really fall for and rot over

Twitter decided to show me AI generated animal abuse videos a couple days ago, immediately logged out of all accounts on there. It was so bad and realistic, all the replies were believing it, posting more of them, it made me so upset that I haven't talked to anyone in days. We are losing humanity

I don't really understand why people post their art as a screenshot with the entire program UI in it. It takes so little effort to export the image, or even crop the screenshot. Having the UI in there takes away from the art IMO- is it just there to "prove" they really drew it?!

I haven't drawn in DAYS because I keep getting locked in reading about local ghost town/mining/logging history. It's so god damn fascinating. The horror, the drama, my god. And locating old hidden mines through context clues, old chart maps, and Google maps is like the hardest drug possible to me.
