I think what's bothering me about all these statements I'm seeing from politicians that are variations of "Israeli hostages and Palestinians are returning to their homes, yay" is that Israelis are returning to their homes and Palestinians are returning to uninhabitable post apocalyptic rubble.

The homes Israeli hostages return to VS the homes Gazans return to

The is no going back to “normal” for them. They are now living in a rubble ridden hellscape while the western world moves on, pretending it didn’t fund and approve this.

Every since I first entered contact with Sakher, he has always been taking care of his community, family, and friends. He and his family are still in a tent as winter approaches. They need food, shelter, medicine.
