Yeah ugh, people reposting art with cropped out signatures and no credit was already a problem before this. People love the idea of not being burdened with the idea that the art they enjoy is made by OTHER people.

I can’t help but think today about how many young people were savaged on social media, branded as anti-semites and abandoned by their schools for daring to call for a ceasefire. I remember saying that it was the first time I can remember that calling for ceasefire was regarded as a hostile demand.

If you didn’t know, Alaska has been hit by a massive storm, causing severe flooding. Many Indigenous villages have been completely wiped out, with some houses floating away with PEOPLE INSIDE THEM. Please keep posting to spread the info. They need help.

Loool ahh bluejays. During the summer my robins are OBSESSED with the bird bath. They queue for it 😭 and then they sit in the water and luxuriate and force other birds to wait lol. They’re so possessive that they’ll sit in a tree or at the edge of the yard and watch while I refill it.

Omg yes lmao. My birds absolutely hear when I’m in the yard and watch and wait to see if I’m refilling the bird bath or the feeders. And once I’m a safe distance away they fly in.

We had Angela Davis speak at my university a couple of years back. One of the many insightful things she said - protest in the way that aligns with your passion. If that’s poetry do poetry or music etc. Because then you will be able to sustain it. If naked bike rides are your passion, 100% do that.
